CRAVED WOODWORKS OF KASHMIR.
It was by chance that I happened to be ,to a workshop near Residency road,jammu to check out wooden furniture for ourself. I was awestruck ,to see the artisans of Kashmir at work on Teak, Shisum & Akroot wood......................Each piece of furniture ,is too Royal in design .Couldn't stop myself filming them & framing it on my camera lens................ I just cann't say ,which was is best...to me, each piece is so-o very unique & might be considered as ones priced possession for decades to come. I was wondering about the patience of the person, drawing the pic's on wood & the person craving each frame of the design on a piece of wood.....................The World should appreciate this master craftmanships of this simple artisans...
